Donald Trump's Senior Adviser Kellyanne Conway was a guest on "Fox & Friends" in the hours before the presidential inauguration.

"I feel so happy for the country," she said when asked about her feelings for the day. "I think it's a fresh start. ... Brand new president and vice president. Fabulous opportunity to unify the country."

Conway, the first woman to successfully win a presidential campaign, said Trump is eager for this historic moment.

"He certainly is moved by the enormity and gravity and responsibility of this, and he is making history," she said. "We've never had a president who had no political or military experience."

While speaking to campaign donors Thursday night at Union Station, Trump pulled Conway up on stage to recognize her efforts in helping him get elected.

"There is no den she will not go into," Trump said.

"That's Donald Trump. You never know what's coming next," Conway, whose 50th birthday coincides with the inauguration, said of the experience.
