Malkin: 'Disingenuous' & 'Partisan' for Dems to Skip Inauguration
Michelle Malkin says it's "electric" in Washington, D.C. in the hours before President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration, despite what you may hear from the mainstream media or Democratic lawmakers who are boycotting the event.
"Shame on these empty chair Democrats," Malkin said on "Hannity" tonight. "They cannot put their partisanship aside for a very historic moment. [It] tells you everything you need to know about their disingenuousness when it comes to preaching about healing and understanding and peace."
She said they need to accept that Trump won the election, and he will be sworn in as our country's 45th president tomorrow.
Malkin agreed with Hannity that the real work begins for Trump once he takes office, and it will be difficult with the Republican establishment, Democratic establishment and the media establishment all gunning for him.
"Those establishments, of course, transcend 'R' and 'D,'" Malkin said, adding that Trump must be prepared to fight "tooth and nail."
