Celebs Plead With Congress in New Video: Save Us From Trump!

In his monologue on "The Five" today, Greg Gutfeld explained how celebrities publicly criticizing President-elect Donald Trump actually hurts their cause.

He pointed to a new video from "Humanity for Progress" that features Sally Field, Steve Buscemi, Keegan-Michael Key and others calling for Congress to obstruct Trump's agenda and hold him accountable.

"Typical of the demonizing left. The name 'Humanity for Progress' suggests anyone who disagrees must be inhuman and against progress," Gutfeld said. "Clearly they're worried. Can you blame them?"

He explained that Democrats lost the election nearly two months ago and party leaders, liberal activists and anti-Trump celebrities apparently still haven't figured out why.

"You could tell them it was the endless tantrum of identity politics and the paralysis of will that it caused," Gutfeld said. "It was their own fear of the P.C. monster they created - and an American public who grew tired of being scared."

"That's the hole that they dug, and each celebrity video only makes it deeper."
