According to outgoing Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, the Democratic Party is getting a bit long in the tooth.
In a recent profile piece for New York Magazine, Reid was asked whether he would support current Vice President Joe Biden if he ran for president in 2020.
"It depends who's running," Reid said. "It appears we're going to have an old folks' home. We've got [Elizabeth] Warren; she'll be 71. Biden will be 78. Bernie [Sanders] will be 79."
If Hillary Clinton decides to run again, she will be 73.
Some potential younger candidates emerging from the Democratic Party include Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) and Julián Castro, the U.S. secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
