A spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he has evidence of "deep collusion" between US officials and Palestinian leaders in pushing for the United Nations resolution that condemned Jewish settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Historically, America has protected Israel at the "biased" United Nations, David Keyes said, but "we know that there was deep collusion between the Obama administration and the Palestinians in order to push this resolution forward."

U.S. State Department spokesman Mark Toner rejected Israel's accusation earlier Tuesday.

Keyes said he had just visited the Western Wall and could not believe the United States would allow the United Nations to declare such a holy site to the Jewish people "occupied" territory.
