On "Outnumbered" today, Meghan McCain blasted the man who berated Ivanka Trump and her children on a JetBlue flight.

The passenger reportedly complained loudly about how the Trump family "ruined our country," and was eventually kicked off the flight along with his traveling companion.

McCain said she feels deeply sorry for Ivanka and her family, because she personally understands what it's like to be harassed in public because of a family member's political beliefs.

"I don't care how you feel about the Trumps ... these people are barbaric," McCain said. "Those little kids will remember this. I guarantee it, because you always remember. And it's disgusting, and I'm so grossed out by the behavior of these people."

Harris Faulkner said that she understands that being in the public eye comes with baggage, but this is an instance where it crossed the line.

"You're trapped on a plane, and you're antagonizing someone with little ones with them ... Do they have any idea how that imperils people who are in the public eye?" Faulkner said. "I'm all for coming real with the truth, but to me that's almost borderline unprotected speech. We're getting into a place now where that's a real threat."
