A St. Louis County woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing packages off someone else's front porch.

Police said the 65-year-old suspect, dubbed the "Granny Who Stole Christmas," was caught on surveillance video removing the boxes.

"She just bends down, grabs them like they're hers, and walks away," the victim, who asked not to be identified, told KTVI.

Authorities confirmed the suspect could be tied to three other similar cases in the county.

"I would love for people to know and be aware this does happen," the victim said. "You see it on the news and you don't think it's going to happen to you. I'm just thankful we were able to have cameras and get some evidence for the police."

Charges are pending against the suspect, police said.
