Brigitte Gabriel on Merkel's Shift: The Burqa Is 'A Sign of Radicalism'

President-elect Donald Trump said this morning that Alec Baldwin's portrayal of him on "Saturday Night Live" is "really mean-spirited and not very good."

Trump spoke to Matt Lauer shortly after being named as Time magazine's Person of the Year. Lauer pressed him on why he watches the late-night program if he doesn't like it.

Trump recalled that he hosted "when it was a good show," adding that he likes Baldwin as an actor.

"There's nothing funny about [the show]. The skits are terrible. ... I don't think his imitation of me gets me at all and it's meant to be very mean-spirited, which is very biased."

Lauer again asked why Trump watches the show and tweets criticism of it, instead of simply ignoring it.

Trump said "the way the show is going now ... who knows how long that show is going to be on?"

Lauer also asked Trump about his use of Twitter and whether he should be more restrained with his tweets as the president.
