President-elect Donald Trump hasn't taken office yet, but he's already making deals.

Last week, Trump secured an agreement with Carrier to prevent hundreds of U.S. jobs from being shipped to Mexico. Yesterday, he announced that Japanese firm SoftBank will invest $50 billion in the U.S., aiming to create 50,000 jobs.

David Bossie, executive director of the Trump transition team, says the president-elect is already showing that he's going to be an agent of change as commander-in-chief.

"It’s exciting. There's a new sheriff in town. There's going to be a new way of doing business," Bossie said on "Fox & Friends" this morning. "He's able to go right past the mainstream media, right to the American people. By doing that, he's able to get his message out."

Bossie said that the world now sees America as "open for business."

"We're going to get this economy rolling again."
