Tim Tebow joined Ainsley Earhardt on "Fox & Friends" this morning to discuss his new book, his devout Christian faith, his career in professional sports and what's next for him.

Tebow explained that "Shaken" is about his rollercoaster experience in athletics, from the disappointing end to his NFL dream to his time in MLB's Instructional League.

He said that persevering through adversity helped define who he is, both on and off the playing field.

Tebow revealed that his faith helped him through the tough times - particularly when he was cut by the New England Patriots - and he's trying to share that message with others in his book and through his charity work.

Tebow said that his main goal and message can be summed in up the mission statement of the Tim Tebow Foundation: "To bring faith, hope and love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need."
