Police Identify Suspect in Ohio State University Attack

Retired Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer sounded off on Monday's attack at Ohio State University on The Kelly File.

Shaffer said the attack by Abdul Razak Ali Artan was "an act of terror by everyone's definition".

He and Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) pointed to clandestine terrorism-supporting cells within large Somali communities, like those in Columbus, Ohio, where there might be support for Somali terror group al-Shabaab.

Ohio's Republican governor, John R. Kasich, Shaffer said, bears some of the burden of these type of attacks because he has accepted "extraordinary numbers" of Somali refugees into his state.

"[Kasich must] accept the responsibility of allowing some, like this individual, to have been let in and attempted to kill Americans."
