Protesters targeting our economy took to the streets of Chicago yesterday, in the midst of the Black Friday shopping frenzy, Dagen McDowell reported on Bulls & Bears.

Black Lives Matter demonstrators tried to block rights-of-way along Chicago's Magnificent Mile shopping district, chanting "No Justice, No Profits"

Will the protests ground key parts of our economy, or will the demonstrations backfire on the participants?

"We are stressed out enough during the holidays. If there are people yelling and shouting... I turn around and go somewhere else," Gary B. Smith said.

The demonstrations only help the protesters, he said: "they feel good about themselves."

John Layfield said the protesters also hope to force the establishment of an elected civilian committee to oversee the police.
