President-elect Donald Trump has appointed Stephen Bannon as his chief strategist and senior adviser in the White House, and Glenn Beck is not a fan of the move.

During an interview with Right Wing Watch, an organization that tracks and reports on right-wing extremism, Beck said that the former executive chairman of Breitbart News is a "terrifying man."

"Steve Bannon wants to burn it down," Beck said. "He's a nightmare. And he's the chief adviser to the president of the United States now."

He added that Bannon has "clear ties" to white nationalism and anti-Semitism.

"He has built Breitbart as a platform for the alt-right," Beck said. "He is on record saying that. He’s on record defining the alt-right. He knows what it is. He is a guy who wants to tear this system down and replace it with a new system. He is a frightening - no, no, no, he is a terrifying man. Terrifying man.”
