Former Navy SEAL, MO Gov.-Elect: The People Rejected 'Crooked, Clinton-Style Politics'
Former Navy SEAL Eric Greitens is the next governor of Missouri.
Greitens, a Republican, credits his surprising victory over Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster to his "upbeat agenda" at a time when our nation is terribly divided.
"We had a very hopeful agenda, and we went out and we took our message to the people of Missouri," Greitens told Neil Cavuto on "Your World" today.
The governor-elect added that Koster is a "career politician," and the people of The Show-Me State recognized that they had been failed by the political establishment.
"People looked at the choice that was in front of them, and they rejected crooked, Clinton-style politics," Greitens said. "They said that they wanted strong, conservative leadership. And they were interested in conservative solutions."
