Florida is an extremely critical swing state in the 2016 election, and if Donald Trump doesn't win there, he all but loses a path to the White House, according to Chris Wallace.

"If he wins Florida, he doesn't win the presidency. But if he loses Florida, it's over," Wallace said on "Shepard Smith Reporting" this afternoon.

Wallace explained that Trump absolutely needs Florida's 29 electoral votes to reach 270.

"I think he agrees, and that's why he's spending so much time there," Wallace added.

He said that Trump basically has to sweep Florida, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Ohio Pennsylvania and Nevada.

Wallace acknowledged that Trump could lose Pennsylvania or another of those states and still put the math together, but it becomes "highly unlikely."
