FBI Director James Comey politicized the Justice Department when he announced the FBI is renewing its Hillary Clinton email investigation just days before the 2016 election, Judge Jeanine Pirro said on "Fox & Friends" this morning.

Judge Jeanine explained that the 650,000 new emails found on disgraced former congressman's Anthony Weiner's computer should have been uncovered during the bureau's initial investigation.

The emails, uncovered during the FBI's separate investigation into Weiner's alleged illicit communications with an underage girl, are connected to Weiner's estranged wife, top Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

"Had [Comey] done a thorough investigation in the first place, he would have found this stuff," Judge Jeanine said. "He should have taken Huma's joint laptop with her husband."

She said the bottom line is that Comey should have conducted a more thorough investigation and recommended Clinton be prosecuted back in July.

"We all know that there was obstruction of justice, there was tampering, there was the destruction of [evidence]," Judge Jeanine said.

She added that the main issue is that Clinton had a non-secure private email server in the first place.

"That's why this dirtbag pervert has our secrets on his laptop."
