Priebus: New Clinton Emails Must Be 'Serious' for FBI to Reopen Investigation

Donald Trump and Mike Pence sat down with Bret Baier earlier today to discuss the state of the 2016 campaign.

During the interview - which was taped two hours before the bombshell news that the FBI is reopening its investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server - Trump said that he believes Clinton shouldn't even be in the race.

"The system is rigged when Hillary Clinton is allowed to run for president," Trump said, calling her email situation and mishandling of state secrets "criminal."

Pence added that most of the mainstream media has displayed a "willful ignorance" in their reporting of Clinton's various scandals, which only weakens Trump supporters' faith in the system being fair.

He said, however, that he doesn't expect them to respond negatively or say they're going to reject the election results, but instead to double down in their support in the coming days.

"I have every confidence that over the next several days, you're going to see people across this country who support this team go out there, talk to their neighbors and friends. And we're going to bring home a great victory for the American people."
