A new ad from the Hillary Clinton campaign is calling attention to Donald Trump's close ties to radio host and notorious conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.

"Where does Trump get his talking points from? Often this alt-right conspiracy theorist, Alex Jones. (Watch all the way to the end.)" reads the tweet from the Clinton campaign.

The one-minute, 18-second ad features Jones - whose show Trump has appeared on - arguing that 9/11 was an "inside job" and that the Sandy Hook school shooting was "completely fake with actors."

Jones is also seen ranting at one point about the government putting chemicals into the water and encouraging homosexuality "with chemicals so that people don't have children."

The ad then repeats a soundbite in which Trump told Jones, "I will not let you down."

At the end, Jones is heard saying on his show that it was "amazing" to discuss things on the air and then later hear Trump repeat them "word for word" on the campaign trail.

President Barack Obama actually referenced Jones last week while campaigning for Clinton. He jokingly smelled himself to mock Jones for claiming on his show that the president and Hillary Clinton are "demons" that smell of sulfur.

"He said me and Hillary are demons, said we smell like sulfur. Ain't that something? ...  I mean. Come on, people," Obama said.
