Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.), a Hillary Clinton supporter, told Neil Cavuto that the discussion of the Democratic presidential nominee's emails are "legitimate".

"Some parts of the emails actually coincide with things she is saying now, like green energy and so forth," Cleaver said.

"The important thing is the date in which she [made the speeches]. If she didn't say that--if she's not duplicitous enough to say on the campaign trail...that she's against [Trans-Pacific Partnership] and then say [otherwise] to the bankers, then that's a problem."

Cleaver said he didn't think that was the case.

"There is no way that a President Hillary Clinton...can say...'full speed ahead' on TPP. Not after the primary campaign."

Cavuto asked Cleaver if she could be trusted as president, citing the speeches.
