Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was not in southside Virginia for the vice presidential debate between Mike Pence and Tim Kaine, but his presence was felt online.

Trump said earlier Tuesday that he would be live-tweeting the debate, and the New York businessman followed through on that promise, offering up a series of tweets, retweets and graphics throughout the roughly 90-minute debate.

At the end of the forum, Trump declared his running mate the winner.
