Is the White House 'Sitting On' Real DHS 'Border Effectiveness' Numbers?
The Department of Homeland Security may be sitting on information that may prove the White House has not been truthful on numbers that have made the border seem more secure than it actually is, Tucker Carlson reported on Fox and Friends Weekend.
Radio host George Rodriguez, known as “El Conservador” joined Carlson to discuss that possibility.
“The White House is playing politics,” Rodriguez said.
“They want to show that they are deporting [large numbers of] people—we know that’s not true,” he said.
DHS places the “border effectiveness rate” at 81 percent, meaning 81 percent of those who cross illegally are properly dealt with.
Rodriguez said the number is closer to 51 percent.
“That’s nothing new to this administration. The situation has been escalating for the past 20 years,” he said.
“They’re in Washington and they go to their brunches and they don’t see the impact [firsthand],” Rodriguez said.
