Meghan McCain, daughter of 2008 Republican presidential nominee John McCain, said on The Intelligence Report that the mainstream media’s overlooking of Hillary Clinton’s health, prior to Sunday’s ‘medical episode’ was strictly partisan.

In 2008, headlines like the Los Angeles Times’ “McCain Faces Question of Fitness to Serve Physically” were abundant, as the press often questioned the septuagenarian senator’s health and age.

However, at 69, Clinton is close to the age Senator McCain was when he ran.

Until Clinton’s incident on Sunday, questions about her health were often dismissed as ‘conspiracy theories’.

“It’s that blatant, that clear, that simple,” McCain told Trish Regan.

“She’s a Democrat and my father is a Republican. The media was obsessed with his health.”

McCain also ripped a Washington Post reporter whose stance on Hillary’s health issue apparently suddenly flipped after Clinton appeared to faint at the 9/11 Memorial in Manhattan, N.Y.:

“Five days later, it’s now ok” to question her health, McCain said.
