Hillary Clinton is taking criticism for her lack of media availability.

The Democratic nominee has not held a press conference for 274 days.

While she has given dozens of interviews to hand-picked reporters, her last free-for-all presser was on December 5, 2015.

Clinton’s lead press secretary, Brian Fallon, however, has vowed that if elected, “Hillary Clinton will hold press conferences.”

On the “Powerhouse Politics” podcast, Fallon promised greater interaction between Clinton and the press on the campaign trail.

Fallon said that he expects the Democratic nominee to hold a press conference soon.

“The amount of interaction can only go up," he said, noting that the traveling press will soon be flying with Clinton on her new campaign plane. “I’m sure that will bring with it a lot of opportunities for additional access to the candidate and interactions between her and the traveling press corps that covers her every day.”

Donald Trump, on the other hand, has held 17 formal, pre-announced press conferences in the past 274 days, according to NBC News:
