Here's a story that's sure to make you smile!

A McDonald's employee with Down syndrome retired after decades on the job, and she received a touching send-off from employees and customers.

Freia David worked as a fry cook at the McDonald's in Needham, Mass., for the last 32 years.

When she retired last week, the restaurant decided to organize an event, inviting the whole town to celebrate Freia's retirement.

The Charles River Center, where Freia lives, shared photos of the bash, which was reportedly attended by families, friends, neighbors and total strangers.

In Freia's honor, the restaurant even gave away free French fries!

Many well wishers commented on the Charles River Center's Facebook post, congratulating Freia on her many inspiring years of service and wishing her a happy retirement.

Congratulations, Freia!
