Gutfeld: 'Everything Is Offensive, From Common Words to Costumed Birds'
An angry bird mascot is the latest threat to students' well-being, according to a professor at University of Iowa.
Professor Resmiye Oral wrote the school's athletics department, complaining that Herky the Hawk's expression conveys "an invitation to aggressivity and even violence."
"I plead with you to allow Herky to be like one of us, sometimes sad, sometimes happy, sometimes angry," she wrote.
Greg Gutfeld weighed in on The Five, saying "The fact is, everything is offensive, from common words to costumed birds."
"It's why we need trigger warnings and safe spaces to protect us from these microagressions.
"The world is so scary, it seems the best thing you can do these days is not be born."
He said that "psychological coddling" is turning our kids into "fearful worms."
