Tonight On the Record, Green Party presidential nominee Dr. Jill Stein explained why she thinks Americans shouldn't vote for Trump or Clinton.

Stein said that neither presidential candidate has earned anyone's vote and both candidates are unpopular.

"The polls show that the majority of the American voters dislike and distrust both of those candidates at record numbers and are clamoring for someone else," she said.

"They are a continuation of the system that we have that has thrown the American people under the bus.

"They have sent our jobs overseas and Hillary has a track record. Donald has sent his jobs overseas although he is complaining about the Trans-Pacific Partnership, but that's what he is doing. He says terrible and frightening things. He is a fear-monger and a hate-monger and a war-monger but Hillary has a track record for doing most of what Donald is talking about.”
