Texas Judge Under Fire for Praying in the Courtroom

As the 2016 Olympics wrapped up in Rio de Janeiro, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe took the stage in a unique way to invite the world to the next summer Olympiad in his country’s capital of Tokyo in 2020.

Rising from a signature green drainpipe, Abe appeared dressed in the famed red plumber’s attire of Nintendo’s legendary character, Mario.

First appearing in 1981’s “Donkey Kong”, Mario and his green-clad brother Luigi have been the subject of countless virtual reality adventures.

On stage, Abe removed his hat and introduced a video, looking ahead to the next meeting of warm-weather athletes.

What do you think of Abe’s Olympic tease? Let us know in the comments.
