100-Year-Old Shares Hilarious Advice on How to Live a Good Life

Dick Van Dyke, an icon of movies and television for the past 60 years, surprised diners at a California Denny’s recently when he and his singing quartet broke out in song during breakfast.

The actor, known for notable roles including chimney sweeper Bert from 1964’s ‘Mary Poppins’, the eponymous ‘Dick Van Dyke Show’ and ‘Diagnosis Murder’, starting singing the theme to ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ to customers’ surprise.

The viral video, aired on Fox & Friends Tuesday, pans the restaurant to show diners reacting in surprise and taking out their phones to capture the unique occasion.

The impromptu performance was not Van Dyke’s first musical surprise.

He also led a crowd in a rendition of “Let’s Go Fly a Kite” in front of Walt Disney’s childhood home in Illinois earlier this summer, according to the New York Daily News

On Twitter, someone asked why Van Dyke had chosen the chain over a local establishment. He said he loves the grits, which are hard to find in California.
