Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn (Ret.) appeared on "Hannity" tonight to react to the revelation that the Iranian scientist executed by his own government after being convicted of spying for the U.S. seemingly was discussed in emails that crossed Hillary Clinton’s private server.

Flynn said that Clinton's "extreme carelessness" with state secrets has placed Americans and U.S. allies around the world at risk, and it's time to stop avoiding that fact.

"There's going to be a cost here and it's the cost to our country's national security," Flynn said. "It just shows the carelessness, the recklessness and the lack of accountability of a person who thinks that she should be the commander-in-chief of our country. Give me a break."

He pointed out that even FBI Director James Comey said she was "careless" with her handling of classified emails, something the Democratic nominee has repeatedly attempted to deny.

"Hillary Clinton is just someone who is not accountable," Flynn stated. "She was reckless in her use of this means of communicating while she was the secretary of state of this country."
