Former Major League Baseball pitcher Curt Schilling says he's going to run for president in 2024.

The six-time All-Star first revealed his ambitious political plans in the comments section of one of his Facebook posts.

Responding to a Facebook user who suggested he consider running for office, Schilling wrote that he is indeed going to run "soon."

"State office first, white house in 8 years :)" Schilling wrote.

He added: “Or 4 if by some amazing illegal event this country elects another clinton.”

He later doubled down on the plan on Twitter:

Schilling, who played for the Phillies, Red Sox and Diamondbacks and won three World Series, has long been outspoken in his criticism of President Obama, Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party.

He created headlines when he vowed to pursue legal action against a Twitter troll who threatened his daughter and when he was fired from ESPN for sharing an anti-transgender meme on Facebook.

So, what do you think about the possibility of "President Schilling"? Let us know in the comments!
