Newt Gingrich joined Sean Hannity tonight to react to Day 2 of the Democratic National Convention.

Gingrich said that the United States has reached a "point of maturity" where there are a tremendous number of successful female leaders in every walk of life.

He said the question is if we have the courage to ask about Hillary Clinton: "Is this the right woman?"

"I think it would be great to have a woman president, but is Hillary Clinton the right woman?"

He pointed to her email scandal, the Benghazi terror attack and her other failures as secretary of state, noting that there are many questions about her judgment and leadership.

"The idea of taking somebody who has been first lady, senator from New York, secretary of state, permanent member of the national establishment [and] saying she's the real change agent?" Gingrich said. "She's had a lifetime to prove it. Where are the changes?"
