Zelda Williams shared a powerful tribute to her late father, legendary actor Robin Williams, on what would have been his 65th birthday.

The 26-year-old actress posted a touching black-and-white Instagram photo of herself, her father, and her two brothers.

But it's how she is choosing to honor his memory that's being shared all over.

Zelda wrote that she is still "not really sure what to do on days like today" and explained that she would give a gift in her dad's name since she cannot give him a present on his birthday.

She shared that her father cared about helping veterans, people with disabilities and rescue dogs, so she made a donation to Freedom Service Dogs of America.

"They rescue pups from shelters and train them so that they can be paired with someone in dire need of their help and companionship. Thought you'd get a kick out of furry, four legged friends helping change the world, one warrior in need at a time," she wrote.

Williams, whose birthday is today, committed suicide nearly two years ago at age 63. He had been diagnosed with Parkinson's the year before and after his death, it was discovered that he was battling a brain disease called Lewy Body Dementia.
