Dr. Ben Carson addressed the Republican National Convention, saying that "we the people" have a necessary obligation to prevent a Hillary Clinton presidency.

Carson said that people forget that the consequences of a Clinton presidency could last well beyond her potential term, through the appointing of judges and what he described as the cultivation of a generation of government-dependent voters.

"And America may never recover from that," Carson said.
