The Never Trump movement was stopped in its tracks by a voice vote over convention rules by the Republican National Convention.
The rules were adopted in two voice votes over objections from anti-Trump delegates who were hoping for a state-by-state vote on rules that bind delegates to back Donald Trump.
The vote set off dueling chants of "roll-call vote" from the anti-Trump delegates and "USA" by Trump supporters.
Shouts of "shame" were also heard from the anti-Trump camp.

Anti-Trump delegate Ken Cuccinelli, a former VA Attorney General and advisor to Ted Cruz's campaign, threw down his credentials in his disgust at the chaos.
