Peters Slams Obama for Siding With 'Islamist Authoritarian' in Turkey Coup

McCaul: If Turkey Coup Succeeds, U.S. Partnership With Military Must Continue

Bill O'Reilly phoned into The O'Reilly Factor tonight to react to the attempted military coup in Turkey.

O'Reilly said it's "what happens when the United States steps back and tries to become one nation of many, and doesn't lead."

He said the main takeaway for Americans is that "the Middle East is absolute chaos, anything could happen, and we're in a war against radical Islam -- and this kind of stuff just makes it more difficult to fight that war."

O'Reilly also commented on Newt Gingrich's proposal to deport Muslims who support sharia law, Donald Trump picking Indiana Gov. Mike Pence to be his running mate, and more.
