President Obama condemned the "vicious, calculated and despicable" attack on Dallas police officers in remarks from Poland this morning.

He said the FBI is working with local authorities to hold accountable anyone involved in the ambush.

"Justice will be done," said Obama.

The president is in Poland for NATO meetings and it's unclear at this point whether he will cut his trip short. He is scheduled to go to Spain next.

The president also mentioned guns briefly during his remarks.

"We also know that when people are armed with powerful weapons, unfortunately it makes attacks like these more deadly and more tragic. And in the days ahead, we're going to have to consider those realities as well," said Obama.
