Crazy Video Orangutan Caught After Escaping Enclosure at Florida Theme Park

An orangutan escaped its enclosure at Busch Gardens on Friday afternoon, causing a mild panic inside the Tampa theme park.
Luna, an 18-year-old female, apparently climbed a tree during her brief taste of freedom, which was captured on social media.

The park remained open during the incident, but officials attemped to evacuate guests from the areas near the orangutan exhibit.
Eventually, the animal was tranquilized, captured and returned to her enclosure.
"The animal care team responded immediately and the animal is back safely and securely in the habitat without incident," Busch Gardens spokesperson Karen Varga-Sinka said in a statement. "The safety of our guests, employees and animals is our number one priority."
