Judge Nap on Clinton-Lynch Meeting: 'Profound' Appearance of Impropriety

Charles Krauthammer said both Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton should have known it was a mistake to meet aboard Lynch's private plane on Monday.

Krauthammer did not believe the premise that the meeting was impromptu, as it has been described.

"How do you bump into somebody inside their private plane, if you're starting from outside the private plane?" he said on Special Report.

Krauthammer said it was a "silly self-inflicted wound."

"It's not a big deal, but in the context of a Clinton campaign that is just riddled with lies, cover-ups, prevarications and all kinds of excuses that are really hard to believe, this just adds to the general impression and it's not going to help her trustworthy numbers."
