The Dalai Lama: It's Wrong to Say 'Muslim Terrorist'
After his meeting with President Obama today, the Dalai Lama sat down with Bret Baier to discuss a range of issues, including refugees, terrorists and Islam.
The Tibetan spiritual leader told Baier that Islamic terrorists are not actually practicing religion. He said the phrase "Muslim terrorist" is wrong, saying that a terrorist is a terrorist.
"The genuine Muslim practitioner[s] [are] wonderful people, and Islam teach[es] the practice of love. When they pray to Allah, Allah [is] considered infinite love."
He said that terrorists using the Quran to justify their acts are wrong, and that he does not consider them genuine Muslims.
The interview ended on a lighter note, with Baier asking the Dalai Lama if he ever watched Caddyshack.
