Donald Trump is doubling down on his comments that President Obama should resign for his failure to call the Orlando nightclub shooting an act of Islamic terror.

"He doesn't get it, or he gets it better than anybody understands," Trump said on "Fox and Friends" this morning. "It's one or the other. And either one is unacceptable."

He added that Hillary Clinton should bow out of the 2016 race if she also refuses to say the words "radical Islamic terror."

"She's a weak person. She's weak on so many different levels ... She is not the right person, especially in these times," Trump said, calling the current leadership in our country "inept" and "incapable."

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee explained that failing to acknowledge the enemy as radical Islam makes it impossible to address the problem.

He added that this horrific attack reinforces the need for a temporary ban on Muslim immigration to the U.S., at least until we can establish a better system of vetting refugees entering our country.

Trump said this should also be a reminder to everyday Americans - particularly Muslims - to be vigilant in their communities and report suspicious people.

"Many, many people are out there with worse intentions than this guy had."
