Actress Geena Davis is producing a feature-length documentary about gender inequality in Hollywood.

The catch? It's being directed by a man.

Tom Donahue will helm the documentary, which will explore why "there’s been no real improvement in the number of female roles since 1946, and there's still a dearth of female directors," according to Davis.

"There’s a need for Hollywood to recognize that it’s operating with an unconscious bias," she said.
