Hume on Trump Speech: 'These Were the Themes That Got Him Nominated'

WEDNESDAY: Bret Baier Will Interview Hillary Clinton on 'Special Report'

During a scripted speech in New York tonight, Donald Trump reached out to Bernie Sanders supporters "who have been left out in the cold by a rigged system of superdelegates."

"We welcome you with open arms," Trump said, after Hillary Clinton officially secured the number of delegates needed to clinch the Democratic nomination.

The Republican candidate said that all of the "terrible" trade deals that Sanders opposed would be taken care of under him.

"We're going to have fantastic trade deals. We're going to start making money and bringing in jobs."

Trump said that the country can't solve its problems by counting on the politicians who created them.

He slammed Hillary Clinton, saying she and her husband have "turned the politics of personal enrichment into an art form for themselves."

"They've made hundreds of millions of dollars selling access, selling favors, selling government contracts, and I mean hundreds of millions of dollars."

Trump said that he would give a "major speech" probably on Monday about "all of the things that have taken place with the Clintons."

"I think you're going to find it very informative and very, very interesting. I wonder if the press will want to attend, who knows."
