Omarosa: 'I Know Trump Personally, and He Is Certainly Not a Racist'

Brit Hume said that Donald Trump's speech from his New York headquarters tonight was a striking improvement over the way the Republican candidate has sounded in recent days.

"These were the themes that got him nominated," he said on The Kelly File. "That's what we heard tonight on issue after issue after issue."

Hume said there was "a lot in (the speech) for a lot of people."

"It's a message that will appeal to not just to the segment of the Republican electorate that nominated him, but to a larger slice of the electorate as he tries to build a constituency large enough to elect him in the general."
