Hillary Clinton has now surpassed the 2,383 delegates needed to secure the Democratic nomination, AP reported Monday night.
All eyes will still be on the expected close race in California, however, as Bernie Sanders looks to claim victory in the nation's largest state.
Sanders has said he will win the Golden State and is vowing to fight all the way to the July 25-28 convention in Philadelphia.
