During a campaign rally in Los Angeles on Friday, Donald Trump singled out a black man in the crowd.

"Oh, look at my African-American over here. Look at him," Trump said. "Are you the greatest?"

That man, Gregory Cheadle, a Republican California congressional candidate, said he was not offended by Trump's comment.

“To give the black folk the time of the day, I was happy,” Cheadle said, adding that African-Americans have historically been dismissed by politicians.

Despite Cheadle's positive reaction to Trump's comment, many have criticized the presumptive Republican nominee, saying this is another example of his racial and cultural insensitivity.
