Remember That MySpace Account You Had? Well, It Was Hacked
— FOX 11 Los Angeles (@FOXLA) June 2, 2016
While you may have forgotten about your old MySpace page, some hackers did not.
LeakedSource.com just discovered the once-popular social networking site was hacked three years ago, possibly exposing username and password data for over 360 million MySpace accounts.
The stolen username/password combinations were found for sale in an online hacker forum.
The company invalidated the passwords for affected accounts. But at risk are the people who use the same username and password for other sites.
So if you've been using the same password since the mid 00's, you might want to consider changing it.
If MySpace hackers have managed to get hold of my password, can they tell me what it is?
