During a contentious press conference at Trump Tower today, Donald Trump slammed the political press, calling them among the most dishonest people he's ever met.

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee accused many in the media of dishonest reporting and twisting his words to fit their own narrative.

In particular, Trump went after ABC reporter Tom Llamas, pointing at him and calling him a "sleazy guy."

"He's a sleaze in my book," Trump stated.

"Why am I sleaze?" Llamas fired back.

"You're a sleaze because you know the facts and you know the facts well."

Later in the press conference, Trump was accused of "setting a new bar" in terms of his contentiousness with the press.

Trump said he doesn't have issues with all members of the press, just the ones who write "false" and "libelous" stories.

He pointed to multiple accusations about his donations to veterans groups, explaining that he was forced to announce the donations and amounts to defend himself.

"Look, I find the press to be extremely dishonest," Trump said. "I find the political press to be unbelievably dishonest."
