A large falling tree injured a New Jersey police officer Friday morning, according to the Ringwood Police Department.
Dash cam footage shows Officer Douglas Faber responding to a call about a large tree branch blocking part of the road on Greenwood Lake Turnpike on Friday morning.
As he examines the brach, Faber suddenly hears a cracking sound and tries to run away as the rest of the massive tree comes crashing down.
After the tree clips Faber's legs and sends him falling to the ground, a fellow officer is seen coming to his aid.
The 33-year-old officer managed to avoid serious injuries, but he did break his wrist and required 13 stitches to close a wound on his head.
