The Veterans Affairs secretary is being criticized for comparing VA wait times to the time people wait for rides at Disneyland.

"When you go to Disney, do they measure the number of hours you wait in line? Or what's important? What's important is, what's your satisfaction with the experience?" Robert McDonald said today to reporters. "And what I would like to move to, eventually, is that kind of measure."

The comment spurred an angry response from House Speaker Paul Ryan, who tweeted out, "This is not make-believe, Mr. Secretary. Veterans have died waiting in those lines."

Scott Davis, who testified about VA mismanagement to Congress, told Neil Cavuto that McDonald's comments reflect the sentiment of the Obama Administration, which is that "the complaints, the issues raised about VA, are just not that significant."

"The majority of people who are waiting for care, the majority of people on that list of veterans died waiting for care, are regular working-class, poor white people, working class and poor minorities. And to a lot of the elite, who make the decisions for this country, for this Administration, those people, those demographics simply do not matter. And I think it's important for all people, whether you're Democrat or Republican, to be appalled by what the secretary said."

Neil Cavuto agreed, slamming McDonald's unbelievable remark.

"Last time I checked, you don't die waiting on a line at Disney! You do die waiting for care. People who go to a park on a lark are very different than people who put it all on the line for this country, so folks like you and me can go to a park on a lark!"
