Actress Blake Lively set off a social media firestorm with an Instagram photo of her in a gown at the Cannes Film Festival.

Lively, who is pregnant with her second child, captioned a picture prominently featuring her backside, "L.A. face with an Oakland booty."

The line, which was made famous in Sir Mix-a-Lot's 1992 song "Baby Got Back (I Like Big Butts)," has infuriated many people, who have accused Lively of racism for referring to an "Oakland booty."

Not all the reaction has been negative, however. Some people have said the criticism is unfair and Lively shouldn't be shamed for merely quoting a song.

Lively was at the film festival for the world premiere of Woody Allen’s "Cafe Society."
